We have a indoor trampoline and for a little boy thats sick its great to get energy out. Kelly has an ear infection on his left side. He also has respiratory infection. We go on the 16th to the ENT;we will way our options for his ears. Praise the Lord sis is well and not sick.

The time is flying by; I missed so much with Kelly since going back to work.
I'm thankful to be able to stay home now.
Blythe is wearing 6-9 mo clothing and size 2 diapers.

She SLEEPS ALL NIGHT long, praise Jesus.
I love her laughter and all that having a daughter is.

Blythe is growing well. She is 16 lb. and is wearing six months in clothes.
She has two bottom teeth; and loves to grind them when nursing. We found out that she is lactose intolerant so we are now a Soy based family. Its not bad at all. Plus it gives a good amount of protein. PLUS
I have started making her food for her and so far she enjoys banana. Blythe has a great little spirit. She is a happy baby for the most part unless she is hungry. We are working on sleeping threw the night. But we have only been apart for an evening and that was at New Years so she is my little breath, it only temporary and then shell be grown up and not wanting me close. So I take it all in now.

Our sweet girl is four months old. I can hadley believe the time. She is growing so well.
She has started taking ceral at night as part of her last feedings. She is taking about 4 oz at each feeding.
She is in six months clothing. and a 1-2 diaper. She has such a happy face. Kelly can make here smile even if she is fussing.She loves her pop bear two peas in a pod those two.
I cant imagine our family without her.

We went to Ohio for our Christmas celebration.

Jeremy's brother from Seattle came down with his family and we had a blast.

We were able to go tubing and sliding.

Kelly got to play with his cousins and loved it.

Today we got a call from Kelly's teacher,she said to call her she has something to discuss with us.

So Jer and I gather and call her back and put her on speaker so we could both hear what she had to say.

She proceeds with at snack time today all the children were discussing Santa; she said Kelly spoke up and said Santa is not real. A instant outburst of crying and arguing came over all the children saying yes he is real he leaves us lots of gifts;well if any one knows Kelly knows he is strong optioned and he made it clear that he is NOT real(santa) and that Jesus is. ( at this point I'm in tears and can't contain emotion on the shear fact that my four year knows the TRUE meaning of Christmas). Dava (his teacher) said he got very upset because the other kids gained up on him saying he was wrong and Kelly yelled out my mommy and popbear don't lie to me they tell the truth. And,yes we are honest with our son, I in no way want to hurt the kids feelings but I don't want MY children thinking that this man " in the red suit" comes leaves an abundance of gifts and makes you feel all warm and fuzzy.The only person that TRUELY does that is Jesus Christ and only him. Thats what we want him to believe in THE RISEN SON not some made up person that will only let you down once you find out he's NOT real.We want our children to have fun and enjoy this time of year but for them to also know we are celebrating something much bigger than them and that Christ did All this for them.

I want Kelly and Blythe to know he is in there hearts, mind ,soul and being,not this person that makes us feel good for awhile and once were done with gifts we want more and more and more. So for Kelly to stand up to his peers and to say Jesus is real and HE is the reason for the season makes me that much more happy about the birth of Jesus Christ.

Blythe is doing ok for 10 weeks she is 12 lbs. WOW!!!

She has a upper respiratory infection so she's a little indifferent but still happy as you can see.And was the best today for Kelly's surgery.

Kelly had another set of tubes and his adenoids out. Our prayer is he regains some of his hearing but will find out on the 21st; threw a hearing test

He has been so loud b/c he couldn't hear that after surgery Jer and I were clueless with what to do with how quite it was.

We had to cancel his Birthday party last night due to him being to sick;but the great thing is we have a huge guitar cake to make us ALL feel better.

He turns 4 on Friday so he's excited about that and he loves his new pillow pet that is a Dino.

Thank you Jesus for your love on your children. Im so thankful that you believe in me to have such precious angels

Blythe is eight weeks old and doing awesome. She is as sweet as can be and she LOVES her pop-bear,when he is home she is glued to him. I love to see that. I cant wait to see there relationship unfold, If I would of had a earthly father what it would of been like growing up, it will just be that much sweeter to be apart of there relationship Kelly keeps us busy; well he does (when he goes fling down the stairs on his mat) while laughing all the way down and jumps up ans says I'm doing that again. What a way to start the day. Blythe is so alert and is full of SMILES.

We spent a good hour this morning cooing at each other. Kelly said she was his favorite girl.On another note:

Kelly is having surgery December 7th on his ears he has lost hearing; all hearing in his left and has 20% in his right. Dr .Willis hopes he will have some hearing back in his ear after the 7th but will have to wait and see. He will also have his adenoids out the same day please remember him.We are so thankful that we are getting this done before our cobra is up at the end of the year. Our prayer is that they can get all the fluid off his ear and that he will regain hearing in his ears.

Well I'm posting this a few days late of her being a week old but hey I'm busy with our little buttafly.

Kelly is doing awesome, I am so thankful that his little heart has such a BIG spot for " his" baby. I love that he wants to hold her and be a helper to me.

Jer is back to the tour this weekend and I'm sad to see him go;with Kelly we had from 12-10-06 until 2-3-07 until he had to go back on the tour. I'm thankful he has a job. God has blessed us beyond measure. I can't tell you how my heart smiles each day I see Blythe and that God extended is amazing Grace upon us to mend broken hearts and clear our minds so we could see him ever so clear and keep on the path he inteded for Jer and I; that he would allow us to be stewards of TWO angels.

Please pray for the three of us this weekend and that we take each moment at a time and then for Jeremy that his heart is filled with wonderful thoughts of his pistol and his little buttafly.

This is Kelly now three almost four and what a blessing he has been to Jer and I .

My heart is rejoicing yet hurts that in two weeks we will be a family of four and no longer three.

The three of us have had our valleys and our mountain tops. We are all at a mountain top in expecting of baby girl. I feel so out of practice but yet it was just yesterday we had bug,yes you can see I'm very emotional I feel that my emotions are every where. I cant Thank papa enough for allowing us Jer and I to be at this point. I just wanted to spend the rest of my life with him but to have two children is more than I can understand. We are celebrating 11 years this week and I cant wait for the next 11, My soul is at rest in the Lord. What a place to be; I love you boys.

Wow what a week its been

Kelly has his great grandma here;my gram and what an adventure its been.

She enjoys two square meals a day but with NO fish/shrimp.

Likes to watch western movies and golden girls TV.

She also is not one for going somewhere and not rushing threw.

Having my gram here has brought back some memories.

First Day of Pre-K 3 at CCS

Kelly had his first day of school at Community Christian School.

He was excited to be with other kids his age and to know they play outside twice a day.

I was very emotional,because I see him growing so fast. He is also knows in a few short weeks he will have his baby sister here and he cant wait. I feel this pregnancy has gone so quick and in that time my son went from toddler to little boy. He has such an amazing spirit and I cant wait to see him with his sister.

To know that you are a steward of your child and that its the Lords gift and you are responsible for them is such a privilege. To know that the Lord is going to meet our family right where we are is Awesome.

I look forward to the day we have her and Kelly sees her for the first time. To HOLD both my children together I can not wrap my mind around.

This morning as like most mornings here at the homestead, I awoke to a bright sun and a still sleeping family, well for a few minutes anyway! Usually I wake and turn the news on to see what is going on in our ever changing world and eventually our son Kelly awakes a lil later and makes his way down the stair case to greet me with a rubbing of his eyes and curl up in my lap for an awakening. At some point he requests me to change the channel to his shows, then requests for some milk. On this day he decided to add to his requests......this morning he has a plan of what he would like to do with his pop. The conversation goes as follows:

Kelly - "Can we run some errands?"

Pop - " sure where would you like to go?"

Kelly - "I wanna go to walmart, that blue place with the make up, and lets go to Africa, and to Chuck E Cheese"

Pop - " well momma is still resting"

Kelly - " NO!! Just you and me!!"

Pop - "well i guess I better get dressed!"

I believe it is safe to say that our son has a great imagination and would love to spend more time with his pop, so this is where I say "gotta go, we got some errands to run!!"

I love summer. But its much different when your having a baby.I enjoy the A/C set on 65 and a fan blowing on me while eating waterlemon and reading a good book.While Kelly and Jer do alot of outside things like ;balloon fights and slip and slide,yard work and boy stuff,to keep nice and cool.

I feel like I popped (I feel I now look pregnant)this past weekend while Jer was in Nantucket so we took a picture for you to see baby Blythe at 26 weeks.

Waking up in the morning seems to be an earlier event for Kelly and I on a daily basis. Every couple of days kelly will sneak into our bed sometime in the middle of the night and of recent he is getting very quiet about it! I know that he gets scared sometimes at night and wants to be with us, but that is something that will pass over time. The last couple of mornings we have woken up and found him asleep in our bed and this particular morning he found himself questioning his father (Me) on whether or not he came up to his room last night to check on Kelly. I was questioned with all his authority (what lil it is, his voice gets so strong when he speaks) "Why didnt you come check on me last night"? My response, "I did, you were sound asleep", his reply "why didnt you sleep upstairs", me, "I wanted to sleep downstairs". Kelly is growing fast, super fast, and just when I think he is done he says "If you need to go to Lowes or walmart and get a new fish or some new toys for me, let me know, ok?" He is now telling us that we NEED to go particular places to get him things, it makes me wonder how long it will it be before we are telling him to go get us something! Oh wait that was last night! "Kelly can you go get the remote for daddy?" Ok thats not true, I would never do that to him while he is 3, maybe when he is 4!!

Grandma and Poppy came for Easter break. They were able to see our new home in Tennessee.

It is nice to have family close and be able to share the blessing the Lord has given to us.

Thank you grandma for the tube puzzle it was mistaken for a empty box when we got home from HHI and Mommy put it in a beach bag. Baby brain sorry grandma;thank you for the puzzle.

Daddy gave mommy a beautiful mothers day gift;LANDSCAPING. Wow it was awesome.

We have a tree for each person of our family. A Japanese maple (the picture) and a weeping willow and two Autumn maples.

If you know our story it was amazing for him to think of something as priceless as trees. I know its just trees but to me its growth and to watch us and him grow in the Lord. god allows things of life to cleanse the body heart and soul and I would not take back the last two years of life due to what life God has given to us as a Family. Praise to him for taking a puzzle of missing pieces and putting it together day by day.

Last but not least Kelly asked how can I see Jesus;pop-bear can you get a ladder so we can climb I want him(Jesus) to hold my hand. WOW ! we couldn't respond both of us where in tears.

I pray for the child like faith.

Oh My WORD,time Flies

I felt it was just yesterday we found out about Baby#2 and now we are half way there.

We have had alot going on.These are random thought from the past couple of weeks.

We went to Hilton Head for two week in April, it was a wonderful time. I say the best kept secret. Well and Paula Deens restaurant is close by.

Kelly is almost done with preschool for the year and we bought a Zoo membership for the summer; I love that he loves the zoo I enjoy it just as much as him.

We find out soon what we are having. That's exciting to get prepared and to start calling Baby by name.

We added a member to the family; Theabore the beta fish so Kelly is having fun taking care of him,well feeding him anyway

Please pray for our church it was destroyed by all the flooding in Nashville;all but part of the sanctuary, we are a 500 member Church . God promised Noah ;you and me he would never flood the earth again.So our prayer is for fast recovery and restoration.

What a time, he still wears a pullup at night.But we have not had any accidents :}
I'm glad to be moving foward.
I am in process of devloping somthing to put on the
toilets at public places can you say YUCK.

He falls and bumps and goes bang all the time and it seems to not bother him.
I think I freak more than he does.

Christmas at the Opry

We went to Opry Land Hotel before Christmas and spent the day.It was decorated so beautiful. I love that they had Nativity all over the hotel and it is refreshing to know there are those out there who are not afraid to show off what they believe.
I "heart' Nashville; it has so much to discover.
We went on the gondola boat ,it takes you around and you get to see the secrets of the hotel.Kelly loved it.
Interesting fact : they took water from every major river water system in the US and put it in the water system at the hotel.It list out where they collected all water from to make up all the water falls and river boat water.
It it so breathe taking. We ate lunch and walked all the different shops. Elvis's Tailor has a shop in the hotel and he sell shirts and different items to see from Elvis s pass

My Momma started a cross stitch Butterfly quilt for me. I would ask her from time to time if she had finished, or where she was at on the quilt, she would tell me and I would tease her "well when we have a baby you'll finish, so I can put it in the baby's room". Well, Kelly was born and she was not done and he is a boy, so a quilt with butterfly's wouldn't really go. So here we are NINE years later and one baby down, three houses we have lived in, and she finished it on her last visit to see us in our new home in Tennessee. Like, she finished it on the plane from Austin to here. When she pulled it out, I think every emotion came out possible. My momma is a very busy lady, she is like the nurse to the doctor, where the nurse does it all but the Doctor makes the money. I thought back of the past 30 years and how much I love and miss her, like the plants in the hot sun miss the water, miss her.I miss laying in her lap and her rubbing my ear. I miss her glass of ice tea because it always seems sweeter when she had been drinking from it. I miss her laugh when my brother would come out as "Steve Urkel". I miss her notes that she placed in my lunch from time to time. I miss my mom. My prayer is that I will be that for Kelly, that he will see me as his HERO after thirty years. I know we all have different thoughts on what a hero is, but to me, she is my hero. All this to say I love you Momma

We are moved in to our NEW home here in Nashville.Prasie the LORD. Kelly found his place ;a box . His world has been turned around.Im stay at home mommy for since he was born which has been nice and he enjoys having Jer and i home together,but its hard for alittle guy when they know the routine and its been changed.Lots of playtime and dress up and I love our little family,and being blessed with this time in our lives to spend with each other.
We found a church that we HEART. It has been wonderful to meet such loving caring people.(there is something about the south)
I have turn 30 and love it. I have accomplished tremendous things in thirty short years with many more to come;I pray.i have gotten back to my jewelry making and I will post some things I want to sell for the Holidays.

We have two new members of our family. Avery and Ainsley!!!!! I'm so proud of Jeron she has such a beautiful heart for the Lord and her children.My brother Keith is such a man of the Lord. He is surrounded by beautiful girls.
Addison the big sister is so excited.She just loves on them. What a beautiful blessing.

What a year it has been. Kelly is almost 3 and he has such a sweet spirit.He had ear plugs put in and he can now hear,tahnk you Dr Dugan. Kelly has been in North Kids for six months now and knows his Lord. He will often break out in song: Jesus,Jesus there is something about that name,master,savior :Jesus like the playground after the rain. If that doesn't fill your cup well then your well is dry
Jeremy and I are celebrating our 10 year anniversary soon.WOW and yet I feel I have just found my soul mate and my friend.

If your close to us you know the reason why the Collins needed time off. In a year of such hard times it was by far the best year in growth with the Lord. For me it was worth the hard time to be rebuilt by the Lord
I'm so thankful the Lord never gives up on us and he does walk next to us each moment of the day. I was a struggling christian for along time and it wasn't until he allowed me to be broken so far down that I was able to really listen.
For the Collins, now we are in transition in that we are moving from Indianapolis to our new home in Nashville,Tennessee. he lord said here is a fresh start and he wasn't kidding... Ha Ha
I am no longer Director of Villaggio Day Spa and looking ahead to be being a momma to my love Kelly-Ryan.
Jeremy is still working with the Gaither Family eleven years strong.

Wow,this has been the best week we have had as a family in a long time. Kelly is not sure what to do with us;it has been awhile since we were together for more than two days straight. The weather is a bit colder than normal but Kelly doesn't mind at all. His little body will shiver and keep smiling.We have been able to cook everyday and I love that b/cit has been awhile since I was able to cook for our family. I love our time here it is building memories and the bond will last forever. We still have 4 days left and Mimi will be here tomorrow so here is a preview from the first part of our week.

It has been a few months,ok way to long. So sorry we have been so far along but here is alittle of what has been going down. Wow how are little baby has changed into a toddler. Kelly is now able to count to 4 and he loves the color green. It is very true when people say it will change you forever; Kel gives love without limits. He always wants to hug, pound, and kiss "I love it' .My family was a very huggy family and I want that for him. I see Gods love a fresh and anew every day. He has been life changing and the best blessing. He is understanding when we go to church we get to learn about Jesus and he loves to say Amen. Thank you father for my little bugglet. Jeremy had a very busy summer which was a true blessing. He did several week long conventions. When he was home he kept Kelly during the day when I worked, which Kel loves when he has daddy to himself. I am still more busy than ever at the spa. I am thankful our spa is doing as well as it is, due to our economy and what we do being a luxury for alot of people. Villaggio Day Spa Fishers is my home away from home, but I love what I do so it makes it worth it. Being able to be an example to those who don't know Jesus is worth any heartache that might come with managing 40 girls. We had to make a decision to find a new home for our dog Kasey. It was becoming to hard for me to keep up with her and Kelly when Jer is gone so I feel good about it. Kelly misses her, he will ask where is Kasey and we respond she is on vacation, ok mommy. We did alot of traveling for weekends Jer had off.

We were able to celabrate his parents 40th wedding anniversary. Jeremys brother from Seattle came in and his sister came in from Africa. It was a great reunion.

We also got to Michigan where a friend let us use their wave runner. That was fun!

Jer and Kel had a who can make the silliest face contest and I loved the moments between them so I think it is worth sharing with others.

We love and are thankful for those in our lives.

Its been a couple days since our last post but thats ok! Things are going well and seem to be getting better everyday! Kelly is really growing like a weed and sometimes I thinks he is growing too much like his dad! The next few weeks are going to be busy for us, Bekah in manhattan, myself every where but with her for about ten days then we come back together for a couple days in gatlinburg. Needless to say it is going to busy, so pray for us if you will. God is good! I have been recieving calls about summer work and so far I am half full for the summer time, just pray for the other half!! Right now I am in Kansas City sprint center with the Gaither tour, and heard a baby laugh..............MAN I MISS MY BOY!! Tulsa tomorrow then home for a couple days! Ok I am done fer now!

My First Haircut....

Well we took Kelly tonight to get his first haircut, he did very well! He seemed to be more interested in everything else that was going on around than the haircut itself. In the photos you will see a good friend of ours, Britney Rogers, did the honors and well I guess you can see for yourself! Overall he was very good and WOW we did not think it was going to make him look even more like a little man!! To think that we are raising a little man and not a baby, is so sweet .

Europe.......

Ok so it has been a while since we posted and I am sure that all of you (I know there are at least 2 people) are wondering whats been going on in our family! Well for the past two weeks I have been in europe with Bill and Glo and the other homecoming family hooligans! We spent twelve days to be exact, in five different "countries" and let me be the first to tell you.......it was absolutely the most fun trip I have had in a while with them! We started in Ireland then scotland and london, england. We had tea with the queen and cake with the horse guards then we moved on to siegen, germany. Oh what fun we had in germany, the crowd in seigen literally ran to find their seats in the theatre and trapped a few of people in the lobby for about ten minutes or so! It was exciting to see people in another country that are so on fire for God and to just hear the music live for some, their first time! Our next stop was Rotterdam netherlands, and then on to Oslo Norway. I had a most excellent time and enjoyed all of the people I met with in the crowds and all of the technicians. It was long and I missed my wife and son dearly to say the least but, I have to say that God lives very strongly outside of the US. Most of the folks in these countries new and had seen Smitty or Third Day before, but after we left, they had different perspectives on who God was and how he was using our groups to influence people. I was very shocked to see how young the crowds were over there. Most of the shows we do here in the states are old peeps you know, 50 plus! Over there the ratio was the opposite, 90% were 35 and younger and the rest were just old.......Ha I am sorry to you old peeps out there but its true!! YOUR OLD!! I cant say much though cuz I am catching up to ya!! Anyways it was good to see all the different faces and just know that God is moving all over the world, I just pray that someday we can go back and help to continue the movement! Thats it for now, if I sound random I am sorry, its because today is wednsday and I feel like its monday and I dont have a clue what time it is, I just know its good to be home.......for now!!

Kelly's First Birthday!!

Wow it has been a year since the BEST thing ever, well the next best thing after my salvation:Kelly was born.
Our son Kellyryan is ONE today. It has been such a learning,loving and spiritual year. I have never been so in love such a small gift. Kelly was born at 6:52pm on Sunday the 10th 2006. He was 5lbs and 11oz and 19 3/4 in. He was just a little peanut. Now he can walk say daddy and we think Jojo and he has the biggest smile this side of Texas OK well Indiana. I can't imagine how Mary felt knowing that she was giving birth to the one that would be her savior one day. I just gave birth to a healthy boy . We love him so much and he has brought more to our life than we will ever know. Thank you Lord for allowing us to love Kelly and to be able to give/teach him you. I can NOT wait for more to come and we will be always thankful for this time. We pray that you are one day touched by the Lord and that you get a glimpse into his Heart and what he has to offer. Thanks you so much all of you that love our little miracle and us!!

Kelly loves when I get in and out of the fridge, I am not sure if it is the cold but he loves to have the door shut and he laughs like its the best thing ever and it is b/c it makes him smile and there is nothing more beautiful then the sound of your baby laughing!!

This Kel with our first dog ever Jojo. He is not going to be with us much longer. He has cancer and it is very sad to know Kelly will not have him to grow up with. Jeremy had given Jojo to me as a gift and he has filled our lives with so much love and he filled a void in our live. I am thankful for pets in that they always give and never want more than love food/water and some time to be your best friend. I am glad Kel had a some time be around Jo. I love my Jojo

This was a special day for Kel he is learning to climb up. It was amazing to watch how strong he has become. He was wearing the perfect t-shirt that read heaven sent, that his mimi got for him. Because he is. We are so thankful for him and how he has kept Jeremy and I on our toes. He ejoys a stroll all over the house. He is our little MONKEY!!
